Time Slot Tracker

Time Slot Tracker é o programa que estou usando no momento para monitorar atividades. Já tinha usado o tracker Hamster que é bem legal e tem uma aparencia mais agradável mas tive alguns problemas com ele ao editar o tempo decorrido. Ambos monitoram apenas uma atividade por vez. 

Nada impede que use os dois ao mesmo tempo para monitorar duas atividades, tipo o Time Slot Tracker para o que for mais importante e o Hamster para a secundária.

Krename - Como renomear arquivos em lote

O krename serve para renomear arquivos ou pastas em lote. Gosto bastante dele, eis algumas funções: 

• Renomeia arquivos e pastas
• Muda de caixa alta para caixa baixa ou apenas a primeira letra 
• Adicionar prefixo ou sufixo para nomes de arquivos 
• Adicionar números ordenados para nomes de arquivos (início, passos, saltos definível) 
• Desfazer renomear
• Tem integração com o Konqueror , Krusader , Dolphin

sudo apt-get install krename

Criar arquivos de texto a partir do bash

Para criar um arquivo de texto vazio a partir do bash, usar o "touch"

touch foobar.txt 

Uso no crontab uma vez por semana para excluir um log ( de backup incremental diario ) cheio e substituir por um vazio para economizar espaço no hd.

Como deletar pastas ou arquivos com mais de "x" dias:


Comandos usados find e rm. 
" -type f " para pesquisar arquivos (files)
" -type d " para pesquisar pastas (directories)



O comando abaixo irá fazer uma busca e deletar todos os arquivos com mais de 2 dias.
 find /home/teste/teste/ -type f -ctime +2 -exec rm -f {} \;


O comando abaixo irá fazer uma busca e deletar todos as pastas com mais de 6 dias.
find /home/teste/teste/ -type d -mtime +6 -exec rm -rf {} \;

Consertar erro E: Could not get lock /var/lib/apt/lists/lock - sem reiniciar

O erro "E: Could not get lock /var/lib/apt/lists/lock - open (11: Resource temporarily unavailable) E: Unable to lock the list directory " é um erro bem comum, que eu consertava reiniciando a sessão e as vezes o pc. Para evitar isso basta usar os comandos:

• sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/lock
• sudo dpkg --configure -a
• sudo apt-get update

Como salvar historico de impressão

        O historico fica em /var/spool/cups/ Também pode ser acessado por

localhost:631.

UFA! BOTs no Enemy Territory

Como consegui:

Baixar em omni-bot wiki a versão mais recente ( hoje é 0.81 ) para linux.

Extrai o arquivo Omni-bot_0.81_ET_Linux.zip e copiei para:

/home/usuario/.etwolf/

e para

/usr/share/games/enemy-territory/

Mudei a permissão dos arquivos ( omni-bot e omnibot ):

sudo chmod 755 -R /usr/share/games/enemy-territory/omni*

Iniciei o jogo, selecionei mod omnibot dexei carregar o mapa e fechei o jogo.

Em /home/usuario/.etwolf/omnibot/profiles/usuario/

Editar o arquivo etconfig.cfg e acrescentar:

seta omni-bot_path "/home/usuario/.etwolf/omni-bot/"

seta omnibot_path "/home/usuario/.etwolf/omni-bot/"

seta omnibot_enable "1"

Salvar.

Iniciei o jogo, selecionei mod omnibot

apertei ~ e dei o comando

/bot addbot 1 1 e apareceu o bot

Carreguei 20 bots para testar nos mapas venice e haemar.

Ok.

Veja nem todos os mapas rodaram o bot com essa configuração.

Não tenho certeza mais acho que só os mapas em /home/usuario/.etwolf/omni-bot/et/scripts/testmap/ rodarão.

Tambem tem direfença se os mapas são ppara etpub, noquater ou jaymod.

Ainda estou testando.

Catálogo de fontes

Toda vez que vou imprimir alguma coisa fico em dúvida. Então fiz e imprimi as fontes que mais uso ( pq são as mais economicas ) para deixar ao lado da impressora. Eu enxergo bem ( até agora ) mais aqui em casa todo mundo sobre de vista cansada, então para mim imprimo em 12.5 mais para a família imprimo 13.5 para não cansar mais os olhos.

Internet com problemas

Há quase 15 meses minha internet apresentava probles para acessar determinados sites. Tipo não conseguir logar em um, só conseguir postar mensagens curtas em um fórum. Uso velox de 4MB . Esse problema começou quando esta com um computador com kubuntu Lucid conectado direto ao modem velox não roteado. O outro computador que tenho ( mais antigo, ficava desconectado da internet ). Reinstalei o sistema, troquei a placa de rede, testei no outro computador que tem o ubuntu hardy instalado, liguei para suporte velox, provedor, fiz perguntas em uns três fórums linux e nada.
Sempre apresentava o erro:

Recentemente instalei uma rede para ligar os dois pcs via roteador Dlink Dir100. A internet apresentou o mesmo problema nesses mesmos sites.

Solução:

Lembrei que no windows podia-se mudar certos parametros, então fui pesquisar...e no erro e acerto consegui resolver o problema alterando o valor do MTU de 1492 para 1460. No meu caso como agora é rede fiz pelo config do roteador. Simples assim!
Voce pode altera pelo pppoeconf quando pedir se quer altera o MTU altere para 1460.
Ou pelo config do roteador: no firefox digite o endereço do roteador ( tipo 192.160.0.1 ) e em Internet setup vá em Manual Internet connections options e altere só o valor do MTU. Pronto!

Fiz um calendário no korganizer (.ics) com os feriados municipais, estaduais ( RJ ) e nacionais. ( Menos os móvies: carnaval - páscoa e corpus christ ) Basta importar. Com programação para os próximos anos.

Kununtu Lucid: updates retiram kdepimlibs-data

   Derepente  não consegui mais abri o korganazer e vários outros programas após ter istalado updates do sistema.
Vi que a versão 4.5.3 remove kdepimlibs-data com isso alguns programas não inicializam, como o korganizer.
A opção foi instalar o kdepimlibs5-dev 4.5.3
Com isso ( até agora ) tudo voltou a funcionar.

Bookmarks do chrome para widget Quick Access Bookmarks no kde4

1. Com o botão direito no widget "Quick Access Bookmarks " clique em "edit bookmarks";
2. Abra o gerenciador de bookmarks do chrome e selecione os bookmarks que voce quer passar para o "Quick Access Bookmarks ";
3. Arraste os bookmarks do Chrome para o "Quick Access Bookmarks " e pronto. Você pode editar o nome de cada um. Eles tambem aparecerão no konqueror.

Pessoalmente só deixo sites mais importantes, calendario google esse tipo de coisa...como não uso o konqueiror ele não precisa ter todos bookmarks.
O arquivo fica salvo em ~./.kde/share/apps/konqueror/bookmarks.xml,~./.kde/share/apps/konqueror/bookmarks.xml.bak e ~./.kde/share/apps/konqueror/bookmarks.xml.tbcache.

Amarok Version 2.4.0 Using KDE 4.6.00 (4.6.0)

Finalmente o bug que fazia o amarok fechar abruptamente ao tentar salvar uma playlist foi solucionado. Infelizmente, até agora, só para Maverick.  
Ainda falta por um script nativo para ler e salvar lyrics ID3.

Atualização 14 abril 2011:

          Para instalar o amarok 2.40 no lucid:

  Vá em synaptic -> repositorios -> updates -> marque unsupporteds updates ( lucid backports ) e depois reload. 

  Marque amarok 2.4 para upgrade e clique em aplicar. 

  Depois é importante desmarcar unsupporteds updates ( lucid backports ) e dar um reload antes de sair do synaptic.

Comparativo Simples Ext4 vs. Reiserfs no mesmo HD

 Partições reiserfs.

 Partições ext4. Parece gastar mais espaço do disco rigido

Particulamente prefero reiserfs, e nunca tive problemas com ele. 

Kubuntu e Pulseaudio

Sempre utilizei o kubuntu com pulseaudio e sempre funcionou bem. Escolhi o pulseaudio porque uso notificações, alarmes de agenda, despertador via cron com audio, amarok ou vlc, gtick e you tube tudo junto e essa foi a forma de tudo funcionar. Sem falar que quando vou jogar enemy territory, antes faço uma playlist no amarok e deixo rodando enquanto jogo.
Ok. Para mim no Lucid não deu nenhum erro de primeira: microfone ok tudo ok...então fiz upgrade para o Maverick e o microfone não funcionava de jeito nenhum.

Primeira coisa a verificar: bios da placa mãe e desabilitar "Azalia" audio em auta definição e mudar para AC97. Minha placa mãe é uma Asus M4N68TM-LE com audio HDA Nvidia VT17008S . Essa mudança habilitou o mic e speakers do frontal gabinete.

Eu preferi desinstalar, reiniciar o pc e reinstalar o pulse:

sudo apt-get --purge remove pulseaudio

Exclui a pasta ./.pulse da home do usuário
Reiniciei. Respondi Excluir devices na notificação do sistema que apareceu.
Reinstalei o pulseaudio:

sudo apt-get install libcanberra-pulse pulseaudio pulseaudio-esound-compat pulseaudio-module-bluetooth pulseaudio-module-gconf pulseaudio-module-udev pulseaudio-module-x11 gstreamer0.10-pulseaudio pulseaudio-utils pavucontrol

sudo apt-get install libpulse-dev padevchooser paman paprefs pavumeter

pulseaudio-module-gconf pulseaudio-module-zeroconf

Parece ser importante ter o libpulse-dev ( não sei exatamente o porque).

Instalei o plasmoid Veromix ( funciona muito melhor que o kmix para pulseaudio) basta panel options -> Add Widgets -> download new widgets.

Reiniciei.

No terminal: kquitapp kmix && KMIX_PULSEAUDIO_DISABLE=1 kmix

( faz o kmix ser como antes e essa dica encontrei após muita pesquisa em http://www.thedallemagnes.info/tag/kubuntu-kmix-pulseaudio ). Nesse site tem como fazer o scritp com esse comando para ser iniciado com o computador. Mas eu não uso, prefiro o veromix.

Exclui a pasta ./.pulse da home do usuário

Depois em system settings -> multimidia : ver se a placa foi reconhecida.
Em system settings -> user management -> certifique-se de que pulse e pulse-acess estejam marcados para seu usuário.
Reiniciei:
Tudo esta funcionando agora !

Atualização:

  Problemas Java & Pulseaudio


Para consertar o fato do java não usar por default o pulseaudio:

cd /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun/jre/bin/ 

sudo mv java java.bin
 
sudo kate /opt/java/jre/bin/java
    #!/bin/bash
padsp /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun/jre/bin/java.bin "$@"

salve o arquivo

sudo chmod +x java 

Pronto reinicie o firefox e o servidor de som. Agora o java deve usar o pulseaudio.

Guia Como sincronizar pastas em uma rede local kubuntu-kubuntu

A opção mais fácil que eu encontrei foi a combinação nfs  + conduit synchronizer.


Computador 01:


Passo 01: Instalação do nfs ( Network File System ):
sudo apt-get install nfs-kernel-server nfs-common portmap 


Configuração do nfs:  


Passo 02: Compartilhando arquivos ou pastas:


sudo cp /etc/exports /etc/exports-original
sudo kate /etc/exports 


Acrescente o que voce quer compartilhar:


/home/usuario/Pictures *(rw,sync) # rw = leitura e escrita #sysnc = Faz as solicitações somente após as mudanças foram cometidos para armazenamento estável .


/media/hd_02/music *(ro,sync) #ro = apenas leitura


Depois rode o comando:


sudo exportfs -av # a = exporta ou desfaz e exportação

# v = mostra o que esta acontecendo.






Passo 03:  sudo apt-get install conduit


Computador 02:

Passo 04: Instalação do nfs ( Network File System ):

File -> Examples -> Synchronize two folders

Aparecerá dois retangulos interligados. Clique com o botão direito e escolha configurar itemem ambos os retangulos para selecionar as pastas a serem configuradas.

File -> Save ( para salvar os compartilhamentos )

Em Edit -> Preferences

Default Syscronization Option: deixe tudo em "Ask me what to do" por segurança.

File -> syscronize all.

Testado no kubuntu lucid e Maverick.
